Summary of Amendment:
The amendment extends the application to include conduct by volunteers; expands the definition of misconduct to include conduct which “denies, interferes with, or limits an individual’s ability to participate in or benefit from opportunities, university programs, or activities.”; allows a “third party reporter” defined as “any individual” to make  a Report on behalf of another and creates a new definition for “hostile environment” as conduct which is “sufficiently severe, frequent, or wide-spread that, both subjectively (to the Reporting Party) and objectively (to a reasonable person), it: (i) creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment; or (ii) denies, interferes with, or limits an individual’s ability to participate in or benefit from opportunities, university programs, or activities.”
